            The displacement sensor is a non-contact displacement sensor based on the principle of high frequency eddy current effect. The high frequency oscillating current produced in the preposition is flowing into the coil of the probe through a coaxial cable, and the coil will produce a high frequency electromagnetic field. When the measured metal body is near the coil, due to the effect of high frequency electromagnetic field, the induction current is produced on the metal surface, which is not only eddy current. The current produces an alternating magnetic field, which is opposite to the direction of the coil's magnetic field. The two magnetic fields superposition each other to change the impedance of the original coil. So the change of the distance between the probe and the surface of the measured metal body can be measured by the change of the impedance of the probe coil. The prefix output a DC voltage proportional to the distance according to the change of the impedance of the probe coil.
